Unisex Silver Turquoise Rosary Bead Necklace

I found these rosary beads when I went on one of my regular treasure hunts to salvage used beads, and necklaces, from my local Opportunity shop - these were a fantastic find because the crucifix is made in Italy.
Feeling more than excited, I pulled apart my latest find, and promptly recycled it into my work to create this brilliant necklace; combining the silver metal beads with some raw turquoise Czech beads to create this stunning piece!
A steal at $50.00 considering the time that went into this creation...exclusively available at Amy Jane Jewels - please follow the link below

Spiritual creativity and magnificence at it's best

The spiritual significance the Dragonfly has in my creative life is enormous. When I was doing “The Artists Way” a course where I learned to uncover and awaken my creative self, I would see these magnificent creatures everywhere! And I wouldn’t just one or two of them, but literally hundreds of them darting to and fro, all around me; encouraging spiritual creativity in me and cheering me on.

If you are interested in buying these earrings are $29 and are available for sale in my on line Etsy store...

Dragonfly

THE ENCHANTING DRAGONFLY IS A BLESSING OF THE DIVINE SPIRIT OF THE CREATIVE!

The humble dragonfly symbolises transformation and adaptation, for me, in the perspective of self-realisation; the kind of shift that has its source in mental and emotional maturity resulting in a deeper awareness around personal authenticity. They symbolise my ability to transform myself through an awakening of my spirit.

Whenever I am blocked with fear the remedy for me is to turn to my creative source – the source that brings me wholeness, comfort and self-love. I am blessed with many artistic friends who teach me various ways to express my creativity other than jewelry making, one of which taught me how to do Mandalas. When I become blocked with any kind of fear, which will ultimately cause me self-loathing, I can streamline into a different kind of creativity for a while. Doing this mandala yesterday was a wonderful way to experience peace and reconnect to the divine!

Unisex Buddha Coin Recycled Twisted Rope Gold Tone Chain Necklace Design By Amy Jane Jewels

I created this powerful unisex necklace as a symbol of the blessings we receive from the divine; and to bring you an offer in the essence of eastern mysticism. I decided to use some interesting gold tone twisted rope chain, and at the bottom I placed a blessed antique bronze reversible Buddhist coin charm, with the image of the goddess Guanyin on it who is associated with compassion by East Asian Buddhists.

Welcome to Amy Jane Jewels new spring collection where I am developing a new line of jewelry to celebrate the vigorous colour of spring in Australia.

I created this gorgeous necklace by flattening out some beautiful filigree bead caps, and combined them with the teal blue Czech beads to capture the joyous colours of spring. A time of rebirth and renewal, when the cold dissipates, the Cherry blossom come into flower and the world seems new and alive again.

HOPE

I am feeling defeated at this juncture in my short artistic career and I wanted to share that with my readers. I hope by sharing honestly about the self-doubt I experience as an artist, that I can help others who maybe experiencing the same lack of confidence. Frequently I go through what I call experiencing the agony of uncertainty; this is usually directly linked to my baby artist feeling frightened and insecure.

I am facing one of these times right now and unfortunately I have broken a cardinal rule by comparing myself to another successful jeweller who is also running her own business. It is funny how my inner critic omitted the fact that she has built her business up over four years, obviously has the access to the finances she needs and the support of her husband, who is her business partner.

I have decided to put into place a few tools to combat my negative thinking. When I did a course in "discovering and recoverin my creative self", via The Artist Way, I learnt to believe in the beauty of my own dreams as opposed to those of another artists. I learnt to keep pursing them no matter what obstacles were put in my path. The next thing I learnt to do is use one of my favourite quotes from the book “don’t say why me, say what’s next”, which always seems to help give me back my resolve. Armed with those tools under my belt I have decided to ask other jewellers what they have done to become successful.

I am now armed with all the tools to triumph over my inner critic and keep moving forward, and sharing it with you has helped release the fear and pain. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this post. I sincerely hope this has helped you remember to keep believing in yourself and the beauty of your dreams.

May you be blessed with the spirit of the creative!
