Men's Unisex jewelry

All my male friends have been asking me if I could make men's jewelry for them. I felt really funny about creating a men's line because it doesn't come from a personalised place of belonging, but I try to give the people what they want. Since starting this new men's line I have discovered that I really like the simplicity of men's jewelry. Here's a sample for you to enjoy..

La vita `e bella

There is nothing more delicious than my beautiful pussy cat rubbing her warm body across my legs as I sit at the computer in the morning. I am sure she knows I work too hard, and comes into my studio just to remind me about the authenticity of life. I can almost make out her saying “... Come back to reality Mum…” as I feel the vibration of her loud purring against my leg.

Creativity block

When I am blocked creatively I have the tendency to panic. I feel bereft if I don't make jewelry - it feels like my connection to my inner source of strength and power starts to die. What I learnt to do in this state of spiritual emergency is what I call channelling. I unblock through lots of art channelling - one of the most effective ways is to partake in a different form of creativity for a while.
On Mondays I do a Mandala work shop (Monday Mandala Madness) with two beautiful women and here's what I created yesterday...

It's not actually finished yet and my beautiful roses dripped water on it but creativity is not about perfection!

I made this necklace for a very special friend.
She reminds me of a wild rose: magnificent, delicate and untamed.

I made this piece with fine Antique Bar Linked Chain to emulate her delicate character. Combined with the brilliance of Jet Swarovski Crystals and Figure Eight Link Chain for that Vintage appeal.
The The Wild Rose emerged from a sacred place and manifested in the appearance of the combination of these materials.
This came straight from the tenderness of my heart and has special meaning to me....

This piece had to simmer for about a week before I was ready to finish it. I adore the antique brass eye link chain I used! Very Vintage.
